P002 → Angular Vessels
I have mostly worked with slab-building techniques in ceramics. This time, instead of my usual approach of developing sculptures from 2D to 3D, I adopted a more intuitive method — building a vessel slowly from the bottom up with clay slabs. The process involved some mathematical and angular calculations, and I tried to find compromise in the pursuit of perfection. The pieces shown in the photos are in their bisque state.
一直以來大都以陶版成型方式做陶，改變以往從2D發展成3D的雕塑方式，以較直覺的方式，用陶板從最底層往上慢慢蓋出一件容器，其中牽涉一些數學與角度的計算，在力圖完美的過程中試著妥協。照片中的作品為素胚。
